IGD is the leading source of information and best practice on the consumer goods industry worldwide. I was integral to winning the redesign of IGC.com for Honest with my creative pitch against 9 other digital agencies.
Communicating closely with the team at IGD, I designed the full website including over 20 templates and a full set of iconography. I supplied all the assets as well as a comprehensive guideline document that allowed IGD’s in-house technical team to develop the site to the exact design requirements.
The design has a newspaper feel and effectively presents a wealth of information in a way that is engaging for new users but also accessible for regular users. The content is colour coded and together with iconography this helps distinguish subject matter and content type so that the page can be easily scanned for relevant information. I introduced the idea for a resource library that stores all content in a searchable format via a filter system.
The homepage is based on a grid that is split into 'content blocks' which allows IGD to display different formats and combinations of content depending what needs to be promoted at any given time.
