Monty's Big Draw (Cambridge University Press)

Promotional Competition Website (site is no longer live since the next competition, which uses the same templates, now proceeds it)

Cambridge University Press is a world renowned educational publishers. At Honest, I designed two competition websites for them to promote two of their English Language courses: Kid’s Box (ages 5-11) and Touchstone (young adult-adult). The sites were designed to appeal to young people of both genders and the objective was achieve entries into the competitions.

'Monty's Big Draw' was the first in a series of Kid's Box competition websites created by Honest. It was aimed at teachers and their pupils around the world.  Teachers would enter their class drawings into the gallery by downloading blank drawings for their pupils to colour in, then uploading the drawings to the website. The drawings were featured in a gallery on site and the chosen winner would win a visit to from 'Monty the mouse' (the brand character) to their school.

At Honest, I was responsible for the full UX and interface design to create an engaging but efficient and easy to use website with the aim of encouraging uploads and data capture. I also designed the logo using existing illustrations of the brand character.
