More about me...

I’m Tammy Ward, I'm a Cambridgeshire based senior digital creative now working on a freelance basis. I'm a commerically minded designer and have a passion for producing engaging and effective user experiences and bringing digital marketing campaigns to life, whether it be for a small businesses or a big brand.

I began my career in London designing for iDTV before moving agency-side where I’ve gained vast experience working with many high profile clients over the last 14 years.

As a core member of the team in my previous role at Honest, I was responsible for leading all of the digital creative output at the agency for over 3 years, from pitching to final delivery of projects. I initiated new digital processes and moved the Honest digital offering forward.

I played a key role in helping Honest achieve some big wins through my creative pitches such as RealVNC (Deskhop), IGD.com (The Institute of Grocery Distribution), PINGHE (High fashion e-commerce site), Pembroke College Cambridge and the Rutherford Physics Partnership. Other clients during my career have included Center Parcs, Cadbury, Teletext Holidays, The Perse School, Powakaddy, Cambridge University Press, Future Business, Anglia Ruskin University and The YMCA.

I have an eye for detail and I apply logical thought processes when problem solving in design. I have limited coding knowledge but i have worked very closely with developers for a number of years and so I understand the constraints in which i design.

Along with experience in digital creative execution (websites, email marketing, advertising banners, branding and moving image animation and other digital materials), I also have experience art directing photography shoots and audio sessions for video soundtracks.

"Tammy has many great qualities as a Senior Designer, not only can she turn her hand at creating a brand defining campaign utilising real insight and a 'sixth sense' for what will work for the consumer but also has that rare skill of being able to breathe life into that vision through her creative technical skills too. Media design & build, campaign web sites, moving image and illustrative knowledge coupled with marketing edge, is an appealing mix of skills that make Tammy a unique designer. "

Rajen Mistry, Head of Creative at Golley Slater Digital
